Exhibition “Flora in Patterns”

You are cordially invited to visit the exhibition “Flora in Patterns” on the first floor of the City of Masters from 7 July to 3 September 2023. The exhibition will feature the work of Anna Zagoruiko, arts and crafts artist.
Anna Zagoruiko graduated from MGIK with a degree in folk arts. She is a member of the Artists’ Union of Russia, the International Federation of Artists, the Artists’ Union of for Decorative Arts. She is a winner of the International Art Prize in 2022 and 2023 in the nomination “Folk and Ornamental Art” as well as a winner and runner-up of many other Russian and international competitions: Russian Talent (2022), Russian Art Week, Saint Petersburg Art Week, Floral Art Exhibition and Competition “Floral Kingdom”, Michelangelo’s Brush (Italy). She is the author of the project “Create and Grow!
Anna is an experimental artist by nature, loves improvisation. She is not restricted by any single type of painting. She boldly combines different techniques and methods. The master’s work is saturated with light and love for nature, and despite its decorative qualities, it is very lively. Particular attention is paid to the plasticity of the lines, Anna’s lines are exquisite and fluid.
The works shown at the exhibition vividly reflect the style of Anna’s paintings: a combination of graphic elements with spacious natural motifs; the harmony of folk ornaments justified by centuries is intact with the free song of her soul.
