Spring Greetings!

Dear friends,  Spring has come! Let’s celebrate it on this very special day!

This year our traditional postcard features Vassily Polenov’s sketch “Butterflies”. It depicts a collection of butterflies that belonged to Vasily Polenov’s uncle Leonid Alexeyevich Voyeikov (1818 – 1886). The picture was painted in Olshanka, the family estate in Tambov Province.
